Colorful language can paint a picture
Adding new verbal to your vocabulary can enhance your blog or speech. Be mindful when writing or speaking not to speak over the heads of persons reading or listening to you. If you seek the maximum appeal from your audience, then you need to exhibit a varied vocabulary, while not tossing out an exhausting quantity of words for the single purpose of appearing to sound prolific.
When you are able to converse with others painting a picture or conveying a message that plays out like a movie reel, then you have mastered speech in a way few have the ability & many strive to achieve.
What you read speaks volumes about you
Expand your horizons with a plethora of reading materials. Food, travel, geography, history, psychology, theology, autobiographical, design, homeopathic, gardening, poetry, humor, art, animals, medical, American literature, are among the topics of books coexisting in harmony on my bookshelves scattered throughout my home. Do you prefer actual books or ebooks? Do you aquire both ebooks & paperback or hardcover books? What is on your ebook list? What is on your bookshelf? I tend to observe the shelves in someone's office or home when I visit them. It gives me an insight to thier inner sanctum.
No one is all knowing or obtains expertise in a vast array topics. I love the old saying," jack of all trades, master of none." Although you may not necessarily desire to be the Internet " know it all", which is actually annoying, you may want to expand your horizons by turning off the TV & opt to read new literature. You might find fascinating new information is empowering. It will definitely make you a more interesting individual.
Being well rounded without gain a pound
Remember the more knowledge you possess, the more real rounded you become as a person. Your brain will gain knowledge without adding poundage to your bathroom scales. Share your knowledge with others in a way that is neither condescending or demeaning but insightful. Writers learn early on to encourage your readers or enter into your realm as it were opening a door for the reader to enter. It is then your job as a writer to establish a surreal experience that encompasses the reader. If you are successful in your endeavor, the reader is swept away upon a wave of imagery that closes the door momentarily to reality. As a writer if you manage to complete this massive task then you have in essence provided a slight escape for the reader. The result is that you will accumulate followers who will eagerly await your next work of art. Learn to write by reading the writing of others. Most of all learn to write by doing. You might find you have more to say than you thought & you might be more colorful than even you thought. Dare to dream in color.
